Becky Lynch made a dramatic WWE return at WrestleMania 41, teaming with Lyra Valkyria to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship after Bayley was sidelined.
Las Vegas turned up the volume Sunday night as Becky Lynch made a thunderous return to the WWE ring at WrestleMania 41, teaming up with Lyra Valkyria for an unforgettable tag team moment.
With Bayley suddenly sidelined right before the big match, Lyra Valkyria found herself in desperate need of a partner for her Women’s World Tag Team Championship clash against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. As the crowd at Allegiant Stadium buzzed with anticipation, Lynch’s entrance music hit, and the place just about lost its mind. This is the kind of comeback that reminds you why wrestling entrances are half the fun.
During the post-event press conference, Lynch was all heart about her decision to step up. "It’s WrestleMania, and Lyra needed a partner. Bayley unfortunately got taken out yesterday. We all saw that and so there wasn’t much time to prepare. But if she’s going to call and ask for something, I’m so proud of her, man, of course I’ll be there, in a heartbeat," she said, sounding like the ultimate wrestling big sister.
And for anyone thinking Lynch might be slowing down or just popping in for the big shows, she shut that idea down real quick. "'The Man' don’t do part time, come on now. When I go, I go hard. I’m going to go hard until I can’t go no more, or until I take a little break," Lynch declared, basically promising she’s not here for a cameo—she’s here for the grind.
Lynch’s last appearance in WWE was a steel-cage showdown with Morgan way back on May 27, 2024. She took some family time, but clearly, she’s lost none of her edge. Teaming with her fellow Irishwoman Valkyria, Lynch helped secure a championship win. Valkyria, by the way, now holds both the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and the tag team gold—talk about a double dose of glory.
