Bubba Ray Dudley previews WWE LFG Season 2, praising Zena Sterling and rising stars vying for an NXT contract.

The wrestling world is buzzing as Bubba Ray Dudley, one half of the legendary Dudley Boyz, gears up for the second season of WWE Legends & Future Greats on A&E. This season, a mix of returning competitors and fresh faces will battle for a coveted NXT contract, with the intensity dialed up to eleven. Dudley, speaking with his signature passion, told WTFNewsRoom that the stakes feel higher this time around. "The returning competitors from Season 1 know what’s at stake now. They’ve tasted the pressure, and they’re coming back with fire," he said.

One standout from last season, Jasper Troy, already made waves by taking NXT champion Oba Femi to the limit. Though he didn’t win, Dudley noted, "Jasper threw Femi around like no one else has. He got the WWE Universe’s attention." This kind of breakout moment is what makes LFG a proving ground for future stars.

But all eyes are on Zena Sterling, Dudley’s protégé from Season 1, who narrowly missed the NXT contract after a brutal knee injury derailed her in the finale at Madison Square Garden. Despite competing at "50%," she nearly clinched the win. "Zena’s got the ‘it’ factor," Dudley declared. "She’s a social media dynamo, a fan favorite, and frankly, she should’ve won Season 1. She’s coming into Season 2 on a mission to dominate."

Dudley also tipped his hat to other names to watch, including Shiloh Hill, Haze Jameson, and Sirena Linton, among others. As a mentor, he’s thrilled to shape the next generation of WWE superstars, each vying for their shot at glory. Season 2 of WWE Legends & Future Greats premieres Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on A&E, promising raw athleticism and high-stakes drama.

Zena Sterling’s comeback is like a wrestling phoenix rising from a knee brace! Dudley’s betting big on her, but with this crew, it’s less a competition and more a human demolition derby. Who needs a script when you’ve got heart, grit, and a ring that’s seen more drama than a soap opera?
