Country singer Carly Pearce paused her Birmingham concert to address a fan scuffle, reinforcing her zero-tolerance policy for bad behavior and urging civility at her shows.
Country music superstar Carly Pearce took on an unusual role during her recent concert at O2 Academy Birmingham in the United Kingdom—peacekeeper. The "We Don’t Fight Anymore" singer had to pause her show to address a scuffle breaking out among her fans.
"We're all here to just have a good night, you know what I mean? We're all friends at my shows," Pearce said, calling out the disruptive behavior. She didn’t stop there, adding a personal touch of sass: "Girl, I am sick, and I ain't got time for it, okay?"
Pearce’s plea for civility didn’t seem to land with the feuding fans, as they reportedly kept at it. Ultimately, security intervened, escorting the combative individuals out of the venue. As they were led away, the crowd rallied behind Pearce, chanting her name in support. She waved and gave a thumbs-up, concluding with a pointed, "Ain’t nobody got time for that." Honestly, relatable energy.
This isn’t Pearce’s first rodeo when it comes to dealing with concert drama. Back in August, while performing at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, she famously called out a heckler mid-performance. "Get out of my show," she had shouted at the time, adding an iconic, "If you're gonna be an a--hole, you're gonna have to say it to me and get the f--- out of my show." The crowd went wild, naturally.
Pearce has been vocal about her zero-tolerance policy for bad behavior at her shows. Speaking to People following the Minnesota incident, she said, "You can't be mean to people and expect people to tolerate it. Especially as women, we're conditioned to kind of just take it, and I want that stigma to go away because we deserve to be able to stand up for ourselves." She added, "People need to be nicer. I hope that people are nicer and maybe think a little before they speak." A fair reminder that concerts are supposed to be fun, not fight clubs.

Carly Pearce might just be the hero we didn’t know we needed. From breaking up fights to standing up to hecklers, she’s setting a new standard for what it means to command a stage. Also, her one-liners? Gold. 'Ain’t nobody got time for that' might be my new mantra.
