Dozens banned by Carnival Cruise after a violent brawl erupts in Galveston terminal. Security struggles to contain chaos as disembarking passengers clash.
Carnival Cruise Line has officially banned 24 passengers after a wild brawl erupted while their ship was docked in Galveston, Texas. The chaotic scene, caught on video and quickly making the rounds on social media, shows several passengers pushing through a crowded terminal before things went from heated to downright violent—with at least two men repeatedly pummeling someone on the ground.
The mayhem didn’t stay in one spot either. The brawl quickly spilled over into more areas of the disembarkation zone, with more people getting dragged into the fray. At one point, security officers jogged over to break things up, but breaking up cruise ship drama is definitely above their pay grade. All the while, kids stood off to the side, probably learning more about human nature than they ever wanted to, and luggage was scattered like confetti.
Carnival was quick to respond, clarifying that the incident happened in the disembarkation area, which falls under U.S. Customs and Border Protection authority. Law enforcement took over, and Carnival made their position crystal clear: "We will not tolerate such behavior, and 24 people have been placed on our Do Not Sail list." Guess there are worse things than missing out on another all-you-can-eat buffet at sea.
The passengers involved were just coming back from a seven-day cruise on the Carnival Jubilee that hit vacation hotspots like Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Roatán. Who knew the real drama would be waiting for them at the dock?
