China's Grip on US Farmland: States Must Defend Our Food!

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is aggressively expanding its influence in America, targeting everything from intellectual property to our kids' social media habits. But their push into American agriculture is particularly alarming. They’re buying up farmland at an alarming rate. Currently, the CCP controls an estimated 349,442 acres of agricultural land – a whopping 82% increase from last year. This takeover is a serious crisis. Conservative leaders are finally waking up, especially in GOP-led states, and starting to fight back. But land ownership is just the tip of the iceberg. The CCP is also trying to dominate the production of essential crop science products, extending its economic grip into American agricultural manufacturing. To protect our food supply, we need to support American agricultural manufacturers who keep their operations here, create American jobs, and boost local economies. Protecting U.S. farmers and the products they need is crucial to addressing China’s long-term threat. We can't let the CCP control our food production. After the COVID-19 disaster, trusting them with our food is just not an option. President Trump's Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) agenda is great, but it's pointless if we let China undermine our food supply. Protecting American manufacturers is also key to Trump's America First agenda. Congress needs to step up, but state leaders must also carry the torch. They need to stop the CCP threat and protect American agriculture. Governors should establish protections for American agricultural manufacturers to cut off the CCP’s influence and keep good-paying American jobs here. New legislation in Georgia, Iowa, and Missouri aims to do just that, setting an example for other states to follow. If these protections fail, we're practically handing our food supply to the CCP and creating a major national security risk. But winning won't be easy. Trial lawyers are aggressively lobbying against these anti-CCP bills, buying off state legislators with campaign contributions. These legislators are betraying their constituents and putting America last, undermining Trump's agenda. We need decisive action from state leaders to stop the CCP's dangerous influence. Georgia, Iowa, and Missouri are leading the way, and they deserve our full support.
