Coastal Carolina football fans will receive free concessions at Brooks Stadium starting in 2025, enhancing game-day experiences through the new 'CCU Kickoff Meal Deal' partnership with Aramark.

Coastal Carolina football fans, it’s time to bring your appetite to the game! Starting in the 2025 season, fans at Brooks Stadium will enjoy complimentary concessions, thanks to a partnership announced by Coastal Carolina Athletics and Aramark.

This initiative, called the "CCU Kickoff Meal Deal," is designed to enhance the game-day experience for fans. "Our fans are the heartbeat of Teal Nation, and we're always looking for ways to elevate their game day experience," said Chance Miller, Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics and University Recreation. "With the CCU Kickoff Meal Deal, we're excited to offer free concessions this fall as a way to say thank you for the energy, passion, and support they bring to Brooks Stadium every game."

Here’s how it works: Fans will need to download the upcoming Coastal Carolina Athletics app to participate. Once inside the stadium, they can grab up to four concession stand items per visit, with unlimited visits allowed. Menu items will include classics like hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, and fountain drinks. However, specialty treats, food from outside vendors, and alcoholic beverages will still come with a price tag.

"Every fan, every game, always free," Miller emphasized in a promotional video shared on the school’s social media channels.

The Chanticleers, while not a traditional powerhouse, have enjoyed notable success in the Sun Belt Conference in recent years. Under former head coach Jamey Chadwell, the team posted impressive 11-1 and 11-2 records in 2020 and 2021, even cracking The Associated Press top 25 poll. After Chadwell’s move to Liberty, Tim Beck took the reins, guiding the team to consecutive bowl appearances in 2023 and 2024, including a Hawaii Bowl victory in 2023.

Coastal Carolina’s first home game of the 2025 season is scheduled for September 6, against Charleston Southern. With free food now on the table, it’s safe to say the game-day buzz is about to hit a whole new level.

Okay, Coastal Carolina fans, let’s talk about this game-changer. Free food at games? That’s the kind of energy every college football program should aim for. Forget overpriced stadium snacks—Coastal is flipping the script on fan experience. Now, if only they included specialty nachos in the deal. But hey, unlimited popcorn is a win!
