The WWE Hall of Fame 2025 class will be inducted during WrestleMania weekend. Cody Rhodes discusses deserving inductees, including John Cena, Randy Orton, and his brother Dustin Rhodes.

The WWE Hall of Fame is gearing up for an exciting 2025 class, set to be inducted during WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas on April 18. Among the inductees are wrestling legends Paul "Triple H" Levesque, Michelle McCool, Lex Luger, The National Disasters tag team (Earthquake and Typhoon), and even a moment immortalized in history—the iconic WrestleMania 13 match between "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Bret Hart.

Undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes, who will be preparing to defend his title against John Cena at WrestleMania 41, shared his thoughts with Fox News Digital on who else deserves a spot in the Hall of Fame once their careers wrap. Rhodes didn't hold back, naming Cena and Randy Orton as immediate contenders for the honor. "Love him, hate him, or indifferent, John Cena checks the box. Same goes for Randy Orton," he stated.

But it was when Rhodes spoke about his brother Dustin Rhodes—widely known as Goldust—that the conversation took a heartfelt turn. Dustin's peculiar and groundbreaking Goldust persona made waves during WWE’s Attitude Era, a time when his character stood apart from their legendary father, Dusty Rhodes. Dustin’s career boasts an impressive resume, including three Intercontinental Championships, seven Hardcore Championships, and three tag-team titles during his WWE tenure. He also wrestled for TNA, WCW, and currently competes in All Elite Wrestling.

"I’ve oftentimes said my brother deserves it," Cody emphasized. "He had a major role in the Attitude Era and beyond, and he’s extremely talented. I’d love to see the family legacy expanded in the Hall of Fame. For my family, the Hall of Fame is everything—it’s the title, and then the Hall of Fame." Cody’s emotional connection stems from seeing his father inducted, a moment he described as deeply significant.

Though Cody is laser-focused on his WrestleMania main event, his reflections on potential Hall of Famers show his passion for honoring wrestling’s history and its standout performers. And let’s be honest—if family drama ever needed a shiny, gold-plated resolution, the Hall of Fame is the perfect stage.

Rhodes' comments were made during a discussion about WWE’s partnership with Clash of Clans, in which he’ll be featured prominently. WrestleMania 41 marks his third consecutive year in the main event, solidifying his status as one of the premier names in the business today.

Cody’s pitch for his brother Dustin is as touching as it is convincing. Goldust was a trailblazer in the Attitude Era, and let’s face it, he rocked that golden wig like no one else could. It’s high time the Hall of Fame expands its definition of greatness to include characters who weren’t just champions but cultural icons as well.
