Dolly Parton Skips Judging American Idol, Celebrates Dollywood, Honors Late Husband

Country music icon Dolly Parton has consistently declined invitations to judge on popular singing competitions like American Idol and The Voice. Her reason? A deep empathy for aspiring artists. "I know how sincere everybody is. Even if they're not that good, they believe they are. I just can't hurt people," Parton shared in a recent interview.
