Philadelphia Eagles' Eli Ricks gushes over Ivanka Trump during White House visit, while Saquon Barkley responds to political buzz after golfing with President Trump.
Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Eli Ricks got a bit more than a White House tour during the team’s Super Bowl celebration with President Donald Trump. Not only did Ricks pose near presidential portraits for his Instagram Stories, but he also seemed completely starstruck by Ivanka Trump. Talk about a day of mixing politics, sports, and a dash of celebrity crush.
Ricks didn’t exactly hide it either—he declared on X, "Donald Trump daughter is beautiful damn. After seeing her in person Ivanka is exactly my type." Just as a reminder for those not keeping up with the Trump family tree: Ivanka is married to Jared Kushner, and they have three kids. Sorry, Eli, the First Daughter is off the market.
Meanwhile, Ricks also gave a shoutout to Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, who enjoyed a little presidential golf time before hopping on Air Force One en route to D.C. Barkley’s trip with Trump stirred up some social media drama, to which Barkley responded, "Maybe I just respect the office, not a hard concept to understand. Just golfed with Obama not too long ago… and look forward to finishing my round with Trump! Now ya get out my mentions with all this politics and have amazing day." Sometimes, the real flex is playing bipartisan golf—if only we could solve world peace with a round on the links.
Back on the field, Ricks just wrapped up his second season with Philly after joining in 2023 as an undrafted free agent out of LSU and Alabama. He’s played in 23 games over two seasons, racking up 21 tackles and three pass breakups, most often contributing on special teams. Not a bad stat line for a guy who nearly went undrafted—looks like he’s making his mark both on and off the field.

Eli Ricks’ White House visit took a rom-com twist—he went in for a Super Bowl party and left with a presidential crush. Someone call Cupid, because apparently, the South Lawn is the new Tinder. And let’s not forget Barkley—if only all political debates could be settled over 18 holes and a handshake.
