I just knew—he got in. And we said, ‘We’re staying here,’" she recounted. Now embracing the serene English countryside, Ellen seems enchanted by her new surroundings. "Everything here is just better—the way animals are treated, people are polite. I love it," she said. From seeing snow for the first time to tending chickens and briefly hosting sheep, Ellen and Portia are diving headfirst into rural living, with Portia even flying her horses over to join them.

When Trump publicly threatened to revoke O’Donnell’s citizenship, labeling her a "threat to humanity," Ellen didn’t hesitate to show solidarity, posting a supportive message online: "Good for you." O’Donnell, in turn, fired back at Trump with fierce criticism, calling him a "dangerous old soulless man" and standing firm in her decision to leave.
