The ad highlights achievements such as deporting illegal immigrants and introducing the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), an initiative Musk himself now leads.

The ad, the first-ever by Musk’s PAC, aired nationally and in Washington, D.C., just days after Trump’s address to Congress. It opens with a dramatic tone, declaring, "After four long years of humiliation, of failure at home and embarrassment abroad, our long national nightmare is finally over," while playing viral clips of former President Joe Biden, including his infamous stumble on Air Force One stairs. During Trump’s address to Congress, he echoed the sentiment, announcing, "America is back," to thunderous applause from Republicans. The ad concludes with a heartfelt message: "Thank you, President Trump, for saving the American Dream."

In the rebuttal, Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) voiced concerns over Musk’s methods, accusing him of overreach and potential privacy violations. "Is there anyone in America who is comfortable with him and his gang of 20-year-olds using their own computer servers to poke through your tax returns, your health information, and your bank accounts?" she asked.

Slotkin acknowledged the need for a more efficient government but warned against chaos and risks to public safety. "You want to cut waste? I’ll help you do it. But change doesn’t need to be chaotic or make us less safe," she said.
