The G7 summit in Canada, marked by President Donald Trump’s early exit, stumbled in addressing pressing global conflicts, notably the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Iran wars. The gathering of leaders from France, the U.S., the U.K., Germany, Japan, Italy, Canada, and the European Union issued a statement condemning Iran as a source of regional instability and asserting its nuclear ambitions must be curbed.
