Germany’s Merz Lifts Ukraine Weapons Range Limits Despite Russia’s Nuclear Threats

In a bold move, Germany’s new chancellor, Friedrich Merz, has announced the removal of all range restrictions on weapons supplied to Ukraine, signaling a significant escalation in Western support amid ongoing tensions with Russia. This decision, aligned with allies like the United States, Britain, and France, allows Ukraine to strike military targets deep within Russian territory, a capability previously restricted.
