'Ghost Adventures' star Aaron Goodwin filed for divorce after wife Victoria was arrested for allegedly plotting his murder, shocking fans with details of the supposed murder-for-hire scheme.
'Ghost Adventures' star Aaron Goodwin has filed for divorce from his wife, Victoria Goodwin, following her arrest in connection with an alleged murder-for-hire plot targeting him. The documents were filed in Clark County, Nevada, just days after the shocking accusations surfaced.
Victoria, who tied the knot with the paranormal investigator in 2022, was arrested on charges of soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder. The alleged plot reportedly involved communication with an inmate in a Florida prison about hiring a hitman. According to police, Victoria's chilling text messages included statements like, "Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce." If this isn't a real-life horror story, I don't know what is.
Victoria has denied the accusations, claiming she had no intent to harm her husband and suggesting she had no memory of the alleged messages. She reportedly told law enforcement the money exchanged in her communications had been meant for cellphones. Even the plot twists in their Instagram-worthy life couldn't prepare us for this.
Just days before her arrest, Victoria shared a seemingly normal photo on social media, showing her cuddling with Aaron and their pet cat, captioned, "Cuddle puddle with my boys." Even earlier, she posted about her Valentine’s Day gift—a Lego Twilight set—which she had excitedly completed. Aaron, on his part, had shared affectionate posts of them together on Valentine’s Day and New Year's, showcasing what appeared to be a loving relationship.
Goodwin expressed his shock at the allegations, telling TMZ he had been "blindsided" by the purported murder plot, as he believed they had a happy marriage. Well, this is a haunting twist that not even the paranormal investigator could have predicted.

This story is giving me serious 'true crime meets reality TV' vibes. The fact that Victoria allegedly considered ending his 'existence' instead of choosing divorce is both chilling and surreal. Who knew a seemingly loving couple's Instagram posts could mask such dark intentions? It’s a reminder that appearances can be deceiving—like a ghostly whisper in the night.
