Israel releases Gaza residents’ accounts exposing Hamas’ violent interference with aid distribution, amid growing tensions and misinformation.

Israel’s Coordinator for Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) has released recordings of Gaza residents exposing Hamas’ violent tactics to sabotage humanitarian aid distribution. These conversations, shared by COGAT’s Coordination and Liaison Administration (CLA), reveal a grim reality: Hamas allegedly fires on civilians near aid sites, spreads false narratives blaming the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), and manipulates casualty figures to deter people from accessing aid.

Hamas’ playbook, according to one resident, involves staging attacks to pin blame on Israel, creating fear that keeps desperate Gazans away from aid. Another resident described 'thugs'—presumably Hamas operatives—killing several people attempting to reach distribution points. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), backed by the U.S. and Israel, corroborated these claims, stating Hamas has targeted its staff, placed bounties on American workers, and threatened civilians seeking help.

Despite accusations of violence at GHF’s secure sites, the organization insists no casualties have occurred at or near its facilities. A GHF spokesperson called out Hamas’ misinformation, particularly from the Gaza Health Ministry, as a deliberate campaign to undermine effective aid models. ‘Our model works,’ the spokesperson declared, urging critics and international groups, including the United Nations, to join their efforts to deliver aid directly to Gazans while bypassing Hamas’ grip.

The U.S. State Department also weighed in, with spokesperson Tammy Bruce condemning Hamas’ interference as a calculated move to worsen Gaza’s humanitarian crisis. As tensions flare, the focus remains on scaling up aid delivery to reach those in need—without feeding the chaos Hamas seems intent on fueling.

Hamas playing the blame game while Gazans dodge bullets for bread—sounds like a twisted reality show. Why not call it ‘Who Gets the Aid?’ with a side of propaganda? The real crime here is how they’re turning survival into a deadly scavenger hunt.
