Brief
Ivanka Trump showcases her jiu-jitsu skills at Miami’s Valente Brothers studio, training with Joaquim Valente, Gisele Bündchen’s boyfriend, and embracing martial arts for fitness and empowerment.
It seems Ivanka Trump is adding some martial arts flair to her already high-profile resume. In a video shared on social media, the former first daughter was seen practicing jiu-jitsu at a Miami studio co-owned by Joaquim Valente, who also happens to be Gisele Bündchen’s new boyfriend.
The video, which appeared on both Ivanka’s and The Valente Brothers’ Instagram accounts, showcases the 43-year-old sporting a blue belt and pulling off some seriously impressive moves. From armbars to chokeholds, Ivanka didn’t hold back, even disarming a knife-wielding instructor and throwing punches like a pro. If being a businesswoman and political adviser wasn’t enough, she’s now channeling some serious action-hero vibes.
The joint Instagram post emphasized the deeper philosophy of jiu-jitsu, stating, "Jiu-Jitsu is more than a martial art. Rooted in ancient tradition and refined over generations, it offers a path to physical confidence, mental clarity, and emotional balance." It also highlighted how training together as families offers a unique opportunity to grow both on and off the mat.
Ivanka, along with her husband Jared Kushner, previously served as senior advisers during Donald Trump’s presidency. However, they’ve stepped away from the political spotlight this time around. Perhaps they’re enjoying a quieter life—though Ivanka’s new skills suggest she could handle any chaos that comes her way.
The Valente Brothers’ studio, with a legacy spanning 60 years, has become a hub for martial arts enthusiasts in Miami. Joaquim Valente, who recently welcomed a baby with Bündchen, is one of three brothers running the studio. Bündchen, who divorced NFL legend Tom Brady in 2023, has two children with Brady.
It’s noteworthy how lives intertwine: from the football field to the jiu-jitsu mat, this circle of celebrity connections is nothing short of fascinating. One minute you’re rooting for Brady on Super Bowl Sunday, and the next you’re watching his ex-wife’s new partner guide Ivanka Trump through some combat drills. Life certainly knows how to keep us entertained.
Whether this martial arts journey is a new passion or just a fitness experiment, one thing’s for sure: Ivanka Trump is making sure she’s ready for whatever comes her way, on or off the mat.

You’ve got to hand it to Ivanka—she’s clearly not afraid to step into new territory. But can we just pause for a second to appreciate the sheer irony? Tom Brady’s ex, her new partner running the studio, and now Ivanka showing off her martial arts chops there. If this isn’t the perfect setup for a Netflix drama, I don’t know what is.
