Jake Paul’s promotion company plans to sue critics like Piers Morgan for claiming his boxing matches are staged, defending the sport’s integrity.

Jake Paul’s boxing empire is throwing punches outside the ring, with his promotion company, Most Valuable Promotions, gearing up to sue critics like Piers Morgan who claim his fights are staged. Nakisa Bidarian, Paul’s business partner, told WTFNewsRoom that their legal team is actively pursuing action against Morgan for calling Paul’s recent bout against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. a “boring staged bulls---” on X. Morgan’s jab, posted Sunday, suggested Paul’s fights are more about cash than competition, accusing him of tarnishing boxing’s integrity by facing older fighters past their prime.

Bidarian fired back, labeling Morgan’s claims “baseless and irresponsible.” He argued that alleging fights are rigged defames not only Paul’s brand but also the integrity of the sport and the California State Athletic Commission, which oversees these events. “Saying fights are staged implies we’re risking federal prison,” Bidarian said, emphasizing that every Paul fight is sanctioned, with sports betting and major media partners involved. The notion of rigging, he insists, is absurd.

The controversy isn’t new. Similar accusations swirled after Paul’s fight against Mike Tyson, with Bidarian previously defending the legitimacy of those bouts. Paul himself took to X, vowing to “vigorously go after” anyone spreading lies about his boxing career. With a 12-1 record and a new ranking of 14th in the WBA cruiserweight division, Paul is now eligible for a title bout, which Bidarian predicts could happen by 2026 or 2027. For now, Paul’s team is focused on defending his name as fiercely as he fights in the ring.

Piers Morgan calling Jake Paul’s fights staged is like saying my morning jog is an Olympic sprint—pure exaggeration! Paul’s team is swinging back hard, but let’s be real: the only thing staged here is Morgan’s flair for drama. If every sanctioned fight with betting odds is ‘rigged,’ then I guess my local gym’s sparring sessions are headed for federal court, too!
