Jasmine Crockett Throws Down IQ Test Gauntlet to Trump on Live TV

Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, didn’t hesitate when late-night host Jimmy Kimmel asked if she’d go head-to-head with former President Donald Trump in a public IQ test. With a confident "Absolutely!", Crockett made it clear she’s ready for the intellectual showdown, turning what started as an insult into a prime-time challenge.

Kimmel brought up how Trump had previously labeled Crockett as having "low IQ," a jab that’s been making the rounds in political circles. In true TV fashion, Kimmel played a clip of Trump calling Crockett the Democrats’ "new star" and, with trademark bravado, questioning if the party was really putting its faith in her. According to Trump, if Crockett is the best the Democrats have got, then they’re "in serious trouble." Colorful, as always.

Crockett, for her part, said this was the first she’d heard the president’s remarks. She didn’t hold back, adding, "It says a lot when you’re supposed to be the leader of the free world, and you’re worried about a sophomore in the House. I’m just saying." Gotta admit, there’s something hilarious about a former president beefing with a congressional newcomer on late-night TV.

The Texas lawmaker has been in the headlines for more than just her sparring with Trump. In recent comments, Crockett stirred things up by comparing Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant recently deported to a notorious El Salvadoran prison, to Trump—claiming Garcia is "a lot less criminal" since, as she put it, "he doesn’t have any criminal convictions." Now, that’s a spicy take for cable news to chew on.

And if that wasn’t enough, Crockett also dropped a "buffoon" label on Trump earlier this month in a social media post, cementing her status as one of the more outspoken voices in Congress.

Looks like this political feud is just heating up, with Crockett more than willing to take the battle from the halls of Congress to the late-night stage—and maybe even to a classroom, IQ test included.

If this IQ face-off ever happens, I hope they televise it and let the winner pick the next presidential playlist. Honestly, between the insults and the social media shade, Congress is starting to feel more like a reality show than ever. Somebody pass the popcorn—or maybe a Mensa application.
