During an interview at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, McCarthy shared that while hosting her VH1 talk show years ago, a psychic guest predicted she would marry Wahlberg. When she later consulted an astrologer, they not only confirmed the psychic’s forecast but also pinpointed when she’d get engaged and married. Spoiler alert: they were spot on.

The couple began dating in July 2013 and tied the knot in August 2014. Between them, they have three children from previous relationships. While Wahlberg has two sons with his ex-wife Kimberly Fey, McCarthy has a son with her ex-husband, John Asher.

McCarthy gave fans a glimpse into what made Wahlberg stand out from the crowd.
