Kansas City Chiefs Re-Sign Wide Receiver Hollywood Brown Amid Xavier Worthy’s Arrest Drama

The Kansas City Chiefs are shaking up their roster once again, bringing back wide receiver Hollywood Brown on a one-year deal reportedly worth up to $11 million. This decision comes amidst some off-field turmoil involving another star player, Xavier Worthy.

Worthy had an incredible rookie season, emerging as Mahomes’ favorite target, capped by an electrifying eight-catch, 157-yard, two-touchdown performance in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss. This arrest throws a wrench into the team’s plans, leaving fans wondering if Worthy’s off-field issues will derail his promising career.

The Chiefs’ receiving corps has been a bit of a patchwork lately. Rashee Rice, another key receiver, tore his ACL early in the season, and he’s not out of hot water either, facing potential suspension for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident.
