Kate Hudson narrowly avoided a full-blown wardrobe disaster during a recent promotional event for her new Netflix series, "Running Point." While speaking onstage at the Paley Center for Media alongside her co-stars, a section of her black dress decided it had other plans, shifting unexpectedly mid-sentence.

Hudson, ever the professional, responded with a quick "Oh" as she managed to grab her chest just in time. Enter co-star Justin Theroux, who swooped in like a true team player to help readjust a clasp at the back of her dress while the audience looked on, clearly entertained by the impromptu drama.

"You didn’t expect this," Hudson joked to the crowd, while another co-star, Brenda Song, tried to shield her from view as Theroux worked on the situation. Theroux, unbothered and keeping things light, quipped, "Just keep talking." And, well, everyone did just that—because the show must go on, right?

But the dress wasn’t done with its antics. About 30 minutes later, it decided to misbehave again. Theroux was once again on rescue duty, and the cast and audience shared another round of laughter. When she raised her arms mid-conversation, the gown decided to let gravity win, resulting in a moment that Seyfried and Powell won’t soon forget. Ever the gentleman, Powell covered her up, and Seyfried later joked that her dress had simply "given up." Talk about a red carpet moment!
