The broadcast also featured photos of North Korean troops with Russian soldiers and a bloodstained notebook, reportedly found in Russia’s Kursk region, with a soldier’s message pledging loyalty to Kim and calling the conflict a “sacred battle.”
Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova, present at the ceremony, was also seen wiping tears, as were others in the audience. Analysts suggest this public display is part of a crafted narrative to project strength and unity, despite the heavy losses reported in the ongoing conflict.
