Donovan Dijak prepares for Battle Riot VII, aiming for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship in a high-stakes 40-man rumble at Thunder Studios, streaming on YouTube.

Donovan Dijak is gearing up for his shot at glory in Battle Riot VII this Saturday, where the Major League Wrestling (MLW) World Heavyweight Championship is up for grabs. The event pits 40 competitors in a rumble-style match, and Dijak is ready to make his mark.

Having previously competed in rumble matches like OTT Loco Rumble and NEW Over The Top 2017, Dijak is no stranger to the chaos of such events. But this time, the stakes are higher than ever. "It’s super exciting, especially now that it’s for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship, which in my eyes is the most prestigious championship in all of professional wrestling," Dijak told Fox News Digital. "I can’t wait to get an opportunity and capitalize on obtaining that."

Dijak debuted in MLW last August during Summer of the Beasts in New York City and has since been making waves. He’s had impressive victories over Tom Lawlor and KENTA but fell short against Matt Riddle at Eric Bischoff’s One Shot in December due to disqualification. Riddle now faces the unenviable task of defending his title against 39 challengers, including Dijak.

For Dijak, winning the championship would be transformative. "I’m not a person who’s had a lot of championships to my name," he admitted. "I almost have a point of pride at this point because it’s like I view myself as one of the – and not just myself, but I think most people would view me as one of the top talents in the world of professional wrestling." The man clearly knows his worth, and honestly, confidence like that is half the battle.

Eight months into his MLW journey, Dijak is full of praise for the promotion, describing his experience as an "absolute pleasure." He highlighted the collaborative effort between wrestlers and management, emphasizing that this unity benefits the fans most. "The fans, ultimately, are the ones who get the payoff because they get to experience the product of so many intelligent minds working together," he said.

MLW, one of the top wrestling promotions in the U.S., has been steadily growing in prominence. Dijak is optimistic about its future, saying, "I’m always looking two steps ahead, three steps ahead... I’m worried about next month, six months from now, next year or two years." His vision for the company includes spearheading its growth and opportunities, promising "unprecedented growth." Ambitious much? But hey, you can’t knock the guy’s hustle.

Battle Riot VII will take place at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, California, and will be available to stream on YouTube at 10 p.m. ET. Besides Dijak, notable names like Bishop Dyer, Anthony Greene, and Paul London are set to compete.

As fans gear up for what promises to be a thrilling night, eyes will be on Dijak to see if he can finally seize the MLW World Heavyweight Championship and carry the company on his shoulders, as he boldly predicts.

Donovan Dijak’s mix of humility and confidence is intriguing, isn’t it? He’s out here claiming he’s one of the best without a major title—talk about rewriting the narrative of success. But let’s see if he can turn all that talk into action at Battle Riot VII. Also, his vision for MLW’s growth? Ambitious and gutsy, but wrestling needs dreamers like him. Fingers crossed he delivers!
