According to leaked Zoom footage from a recent briefing, Meryl Johnson, chair of the NAACP Cleveland education committee, revealed plans to present Guardian of Justice Awards to these courageous educators during the upcoming Teach Truth Day of Action on June 7.

Johnson passionately criticized the federal anti-DEI mandates as an immoral suggestion, emphasizing that the role of school board members is to prioritize students above all else.
