Olivia Munn Slams Rumors She Sparked Aaron Rodgers’ Family Feud

Olivia Munn has finally tackled the persistent rumors that she drove a wedge between NFL star Aaron Rodgers and his family, setting the record straight with her signature candor. On a recent episode of Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, the 44-year-old actress reflected on her 2014-2017 relationship with Rodgers, dismissing claims that she was the root of his familial estrangement. "There was this narrative that took hold... but it had nothing to do with me," Munn stated, pointing out the unfair blame she faced.

Munn drew parallels to the media frenzy that once scapegoated Jessica Simpson for the Dallas Cowboys' losses during her relationship with Tony Romo. She noted that while Rodgers racked up impressive feats—like three Hail Mary passes and two NFC championship appearances—no one credited her for his successes. "I didn’t get credit for any of the wins," she quipped, highlighting the double standard.

The Rodgers family rift, which surfaced publicly during Jordan Rodgers’ 2016 appearance on The Bachelorette, was pinned on Munn by fans and media. Yet, she insisted the issues were "deep-rooted" and predated her involvement. Rodgers himself backed her up in Ian O’Connor’s 2024 biography, Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers, confirming Munn was not the cause. "Thank God somebody had read it and said, ‘Aaron speaks,’" Munn said gratefully.
