Pacers dominate Knicks 130-121 in Game 4, led by Haliburton’s triple-double, standing one win from NBA Finals.
The Indiana Pacers are one step from the NBA Finals, edging out the New York Knicks 130-121 in a thrilling Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. With a 3-1 series lead, the Pacers are poised to close it out, but the Knicks, ever resilient, aren’t ready to fold just yet.
From the opening tip, Indiana’s offense was a well-oiled machine. The Pacers couldn’t miss in the first half, building a 10-point lead by the second quarter. New York clawed back, briefly taking a 64-63 lead late in the half, only for Indiana to answer with a 6-0 run to steal the momentum. The third quarter saw the Pacers stretch their lead to 12, and a 9-5 surge to open the fourth ballooned it to 15—their largest of the night.
The Knicks, no strangers to comebacks, rallied with a 10-2 run to cut the deficit to six with under five minutes left. But former Knick Obi Toppin delivered the knockout punch, draining a three-pointer with 45 seconds remaining to secure a 10-point cushion. Tyrese Haliburton was the maestro, orchestrating a flawless triple-double: 32 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds without a single turnover. Pascal Siakam chipped in 30 points, and Benedict Mathurin added 20 off the bench.
New York’s Jalen Brunson (31 points), Karl-Anthony Towns (24), and OG Anunoby (22) fought valiantly, combining for 77 points, but 17 turnovers doomed their efforts. Now facing elimination, the Knicks head home for Game 5 on Thursday, where they’ll need to channel the magic of their previous 20-point comeback in this series to keep their season alive.

Tyrese Haliburton’s triple-double was smoother than a jazz solo, but the Knicks’ turnovers? Yikes, it’s like they were passing to the wrong team! Can New York find their rhythm at home, or will Indy dance straight to the Finals?
