On Tuesday, Commissioner Jay Monahan announced his departure, passing the club to NFL executive Brian Rolapp, who steps in as the new CEO. This shift comes as golf navigates turbulent fairways, with the Saudi-backed LIV Golf stirring the pot for over three years.

Rolapp, a 22-year NFL veteran, brings a fresh perspective. Two-time major champion Xander Schauffele is already buzzing with optimism. In an interview, he praised the selection, noting Rolapp’s excitement and vision for balancing tradition with innovation. “He sees potential in where the Tour can go,” Schauffele said, highlighting Rolapp’s experience in pushing the NFL’s brand forward. “That mindset is always a good thing.”
