Jennifer Tilly joins RHOBH season 14, showcasing her lavish lifestyle, poker success, quirky luxury homes, couture collection, and ties to The Simpsons royalties.

Jennifer Tilly may be a fresh face on season 14 of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", but she’s no stranger to the spotlight—or a hefty bank account. The 66-year-old actress, known for her roles in films like "Bullets Over Broadway" and "Bride of Chucky", has built an enviable life filled with quirky hobbies, luxurious properties, and an impressive poker career.

Tilly openly admits to being a self-proclaimed "hoarder" with a penchant for unique luxury items. Among her possessions are two sprawling Bel Air mansions. One serves as her "real house," while the other, amusingly referred to as her "playhouse," is used for, well, play. "The playhouse is bigger than my real house," she noted, adding that it’s less cluttered because "nobody lives there." Honestly, who wouldn’t want a house just for fun?

During the pandemic, Tilly realized she needed an office but lamented that even with two houses, she couldn’t carve out space for all her desires. Among her unfulfilled dreams were a stripper pole (for the exercise, of course) and a recording studio. The latter would have been particularly useful, as she currently records her "Family Guy" voiceovers from one of her five closets. Yes, five. "How can I get rid of my Tom Ford Gucci? Even though that’s, like, three sizes ago," she quipped.

Tilly also owns a beachfront Malibu property, which she avoids due to an unwelcome spectral guest. "There’s a ghost there, and he really doesn’t like us being there. I can’t blame him," she joked. And for the card sharks out there, she and her longtime boyfriend Phil Laak, a fellow professional poker player, own a property in Las Vegas. The couple has been together since 2004, proving that poker isn’t the only thing she’s committed to.

Her love of the extravagant was on full display in RHOBH, where she flaunted one-of-a-kind couture, including a Louis Vuitton purse shaped like a cruise ship. But Tilly’s lavish lifestyle isn’t just supported by her acting career; she’s also an accomplished poker player. In 2005, she made history as the first celebrity to win the World Series of Poker, raking in over $1 million throughout her poker career. "In poker, you’re trained not to show what you’re feeling. As a professional actress, you’re trained not to make a scene," she explained, undoubtedly a winning combination.

And then there’s "The Simpsons." Tilly’s connection to the iconic cartoon stems from her marriage to the late producer Sam Simon. The pair divorced in 1991, but she walked away with a share of "The Simpsons" in the settlement. "Nobody knew that 'The Simpsons' was going to go on for trillions of years," she remarked, acknowledging the unexpected windfall.

Whether she’s hoarding couture, outsmarting opponents at the poker table, or cashing in on cartoon royalties, Jennifer Tilly is living proof that life is more fun when you embrace your quirks—and maybe own a couple of mansions while you’re at it.

Jennifer Tilly's life is the kind of quirky extravagance you’d expect from a Hollywood star, but what really stands out is her sense of humor about it all. I mean, a playhouse bigger than her 'real' house and recording voiceovers in a closet? Only Tilly could make hoarding sound this glamorous. And let’s not forget her low-key million-dollar poker career—talk about a wildcard!
