Ric Flair confirms second skin cancer diagnosis, begins treatment after denying rumors. The WWE legend faces health challenges amid recent divorce.

Pro wrestling icon Ric Flair, the 76-year-old Hall of Famer, has confirmed he’s facing skin cancer for the second time in three years. In a candid interview, Flair shared that he’ll begin treatment next week, reversing his earlier denial of the diagnosis last month. The WWE legend explained his initial silence stemmed from a desire for privacy, a rare moment of restraint for the flamboyant star known for his larger-than-life persona.

Just last month, Flair took to X to dismiss rumors, writing, "I’m Sorry People Have Been Misled By Social Media, But I Don’t Have Cancer Of Any Kind." He jokingly promised fans they’d have to "put up with me for another 25 years." The about-face reveals the personal toll of public life for the man who’s styled and profiled through decades in the ring.

Flair’s health struggles aren’t new. In 2017, he faced a life-threatening crisis, undergoing surgery to remove part of his bowel. Doctors also discovered early kidney failure and near-congestive heart failure, conditions linked to years of alcohol abuse. Through it all, Flair credits his now-estranged fifth wife, Wendy Barlow, for her unwavering support during that ordeal. The couple announced their split in September, with Flair expressing gratitude for Barlow’s presence during his darkest days.

Despite these challenges, Flair remains a force, balancing personal trials with his enduring charisma. His resilience, much like his signature strut, keeps fans rooting for the Nature Boy.

Ric Flair’s dodging cancer like he sidestepped a suplex, but even the Nature Boy can’t woo cancer away forever. Here’s hoping his next strut is to the doctor’s office for good news. Why’d he deny it? Probably didn’t want fans chanting ‘Chemo! Chemo!’ instead of ‘Woo!’
