Brief

Rosie O'Donnell, now living in Ireland, continues her outspoken criticism of Donald Trump, forgives MAGA supporters, and addresses her ongoing feud with the former president.

Rosie O'Donnell might be living in Ireland now, but her thoughts are still firmly rooted in American politics—specifically her longstanding feud with former President Donald Trump. The comedian and actress, who moved to Ireland following Trump's re-election, has kept her social media buzzing with anti-Trump commentary.

On Thursday, O'Donnell, 63, shared a video on her Substack channel in which she announced she forgives MAGA supporters. "I forgive them, and I know they didn’t ask for my forgiveness," she said. "I hope that doesn’t sound condescending, but I forgive them for making the mistake of believing the Americanized propaganda where we sold a conman as a businessman." Bold words, Rosie.

She also didn't spare Mark Burnett, producer of Trump's reality hit "The Apprentice," accusing him of putting a "shine" on Trump's personality that misled the public. "Everybody in the world knew just how bad he is, but Mark Burnett put a shine on the s---, and everybody thinks it’s gold," O'Donnell said in her signature no-holds-barred style.

O'Donnell's disdain for Trump has been well-documented, dating back to their fiery exchange in 2006 when she critiqued him on "The View." Trump, true to his combative nature, has kept the feud alive over the years, using her as a punchline in debates and speeches, including a Republican primary debate in 2015 where he quipped "only Rosie O'Donnell" when asked about calling women derogatory names.

Her move to Ireland has not dulled her sharp opinions. Appearing on Ireland's "Late Late Show," she described Trump's re-election as "overwhelmingly sad" and admitted that his presidency was "way too much for me to take emotionally." She even suggested an investigation into Elon Musk’s alleged involvement in Trump's victory, hinting at the influence of big tech on the election results. Let's just say, subtlety is not her forte.

O'Donnell has also taken her anti-Trump sentiments to poetry, crafting verses that read more like a lyrical venting session. In one piece, she wrote: "once a misogynist…always a creep/ he went after me for years and hasn't stopped yet." It's clear that while she may have left the U.S. physically, her heart—and ire—remain deeply tied to its political drama.

Despite her criticisms, O'Donnell's outspoken nature continues to garner attention, whether it's through her social media posts, TikTok videos, or late-night TV appearances. Whether people love her or loathe her, one thing is certain: Rosie O'Donnell will always find a way to have the last word.

Editor's Comments

Rosie O'Donnell's ability to turn political fury into poetry is oddly fascinating—imagine having that much passion for a feud that spans decades! Also, her jab at Mark Burnett for "polishing the unpolishable" was brutally on point. If anything, she's a master at keeping the spotlight trained on her, no matter the continent.
