Savannah Chrisley Pins Breakup on Boyfriend’s Ex-Wife Amid Shocking Murder-for-Hire Allegations

Savannah Chrisley, star of the reality series Chrisley Knows Best, has publicly attributed the end of her relationship with ex-boyfriend Robert Shiver to the actions of his ex-wife, Lindsay Shiver, who faces serious accusations in a murder-for-hire plot against Robert.

The couple parted ways on March 6, with Savannah candidly sharing on her podcast, I Got Dumped, that Lindsay’s alleged criminal conduct wreaked havoc on their relationship. "I don’t want to give her the notoriety that she has badly been seeking, but I feel like that's the only way to go," Savannah said. She expressed deep resentment toward Lindsay for the turmoil she caused Robert and his children.

Lindsay Shiver is accused of recruiting accomplices to kill Robert amid their bitter divorce proceedings. Robert filed for divorce last year, citing "adulterous conduct", and Lindsay filed shortly after, controversially claiming her new relationship had Robert’s legal blessing. The situation escalated in July 2023 when Lindsay reportedly sought to use the family’s private jet to visit her boyfriend in the Bahamas, leading to a violent confrontation.

Authorities uncovered Lindsay’s alleged murder-for-hire plot during a separate robbbery investigation in the Bahamas, and she is currently awaiting trial this August on those charges.

Savannah painted a grim picture of Lindsay’s impact: "She absolutely destroyed a great man when it comes to his heart and his life, just all of it." She believes Robert needed time to heal from the pain Lindsay caused before being ready for a healthy relationship — a process he couldn’t complete while the chaos was still ongoing.

Despite Lindsay's recent release from detention, Savannah said the upheaval she brought was never-ending. "It’s like she wanted to destroy everything in his path, her path, everyone," Savannah remarked. "There was never any sense of care for another individual other than herself."

Chrisley admitted the drama was too much for Robert to manage and ultimately contributed directly to their breakup. "And so, she got what she wanted. You once again destroyed another thing in your life and other people's lives," she declared.

Looking ahead, Savannah plans to remain single for a while, emphasizing her stance against dating anyone not officially divorced. "He’s no further along in his divorce today than he was the day I met him, which is absolutely insane," she noted.

Nevertheless, Savannah continues to maintain a connection with Robert’s three sons, reaffirming her commitment to being a supportive presence in their lives despite the breakup. "When I got into a relationship with Robert, I also got into a relationship with his kids, and I vowed to always show up, always be there," she said.
