Suzanne Somers' legacy is being revived through an AI twin, developed by Hollo.AI and husband Alan Hamel, offering interactive, lifelike conversations and preserving her wellness advocacy.
The late Suzanne Somers, an icon of Hollywood and wellness advocacy, is being immortalized in a way that feels like something out of science fiction. Her husband, Alan Hamel, is collaborating with Hollo.AI to create an artificial intelligence "twin" of Somers, modeled after her celebrated 'Three’s Company' character.
Hamel shared the excitement behind this project, stating, "I am working with Hollo, an AI company, to create Suzanne AI. It’s very exciting to think about being able to interact with Suzanne’s twin." He even demonstrated this technological marvel, the "Suzanne robot," at the Roth 25 conference, which connects AI companies with investors.
Suzanne AI isn’t just about nostalgia—it’s about legacy. Hamel reflected on her 27 books dedicated to health and wellness and how AI could continue her mission to "make the world a better place." He revealed that Suzanne AI would live on SuzanneSomers.com, a business they built together over four decades. The global branding of the site, which specializes in certified toxic-free products, will now also host this digital reincarnation.
Rex Wong, CEO of Hollo.AI, explained that the AI twin was trained using Somers’ TV appearances, interviews, and even personal insights from Hamel. "We have been working with Alan to bring the essence of Suzanne back to life in different ways," Wong said, emphasizing that the AI captures personality, speech patterns, and emotions in a human-like conversational style.
The technology doesn’t stop with Somers. Hollo.AI plans to allow anyone to create their own AI twin in minutes through its AI Personality Engine, launching in April. Users will upload a selfie and record a brief introduction, enabling the creation of a digital twin capable of chatting in 32 languages. While some might find this eerie, others may see it as a way to reconnect with lost loved ones.
Hamel expressed that Somers supported the AI twin concept before her passing, saying the idea "absolutely did come from her." He hinted at further plans, such as creating AI versions of 'Three’s Company' co-star John Ritter and producing new episodes of the iconic show. "One of these days the world will see Suzanne Somers again," Hamel commented, sounding as if he might just be rewriting television history.
From preserving her wisdom to showcasing her iconic personality, Suzanne AI is not just a tribute but a bold step into the future of legacy preservation. And while some might debate the ethics of such innovations, there’s no denying the profound mix of sentiment and tech ingenuity here.

Turning Suzanne Somers into an AI twin? Honestly, it’s both fascinating and a little goosebump-inducing. While the tech world buzzes about AI’s future, Hamel is over here casually giving his wife a digital afterlife. It’s like merging sci-fi with heartfelt memories. But let’s not miss the irony—Somers fought for wellness and toxic-free living, and now her legacy resides in the digital ether. What a twist.
