Tesla driver Nathaniel Radimak arrested in Hawaii for assaulting teen and mother, months after early prison release for California road rage crimes.

A Tesla driver with a history of road rage violence has landed back in hot water, this time in Hawaii. Nathaniel Radimak, 39, was arrested on May 8 in Waikiki after allegedly assaulting an 18-year-old girl and her 35-year-old mother in downtown Honolulu. The incident, which unfolded on May 7, began when the teen, attempting to park her car, exchanged words with Radimak, who was speeding by in a 2022 gray Tesla with Oregon plates. Police say he exited his vehicle, attacked the pair, and fled the scene.

Radimak’s latest outburst comes just months after his early release from a California prison in August 2024, where he served less than a year of a five-year sentence for a string of violent road rage attacks. Known for wielding a pipe to smash victims’ cars—mostly targeting women—he pleaded guilty to charges including assault, vandalism, elder abuse, and criminal threats. His early release, credited to time served and good behavior, sparked outrage among his California victims.

In Hawaii, Radimak faces charges of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and two counts of third-degree assault, with bail set at $100,000. A no-bail parole revocation warrant has also been issued, signaling his return to custody may be prolonged. This case raises questions about recidivism and the effectiveness of early release policies for violent offenders.

Radimak’s back at it, turning Hawaii’s aloha spirit into road rage roulette. Why let a pipe-swinging Tesla driver out early? Seems California’s parole board thought he’d trade his pipe for a surfboard. Spoiler: He didn’t.
