Tina Fey critiques wealthy celebrities for pursuing side hustles, expressing her indifference to money on Amy Poehler's podcast, as celebrity side gigs spark debate about hustle culture.

Tina Fey isn’t here for wealthy celebrities chasing after more cash. The "Saturday Night Live" alum had plenty to say about rich folks with side hustles during her appearance on the "Good Hang with Amy Poehler" podcast.

The conversation took a playful turn when Poehler complimented Fey’s hair, joking that it was so good it could be her next money-making venture. Poehler suggested Fey should launch a hair campaign or even her own glasses line. Fey, however, wasn’t biting.

"You hate money?" Poehler teased, cutting Fey off mid-explanation. Fey responded, "I do kind of hate money. As we know, [I'm] terrible with money… I don't waste money, but I don't get excited about money." Clearly, she’s not losing sleep over stock portfolios or side gigs.

Fey clarified she only needs enough money to live comfortably and feel safe. But she didn’t hold back when addressing her disdain for affluent celebrities who look for additional ways to rake in cash. "I have a problem with rich people having a side hustle," Fey said. "If you already have like $200 million and you're like also…"

Poehler, ever the optimist, tried to defend Gen Z’s hustle culture, saying they don’t judge. Fey’s response? "I judge it." Blunt, but refreshingly honest.

The podcast episode highlighted a growing trend among celebrities branching into unconventional income streams. Take Lily Allen, for instance. The singer revealed last October that she earns more money selling photos of her feet on OnlyFans than she does from streaming royalties on Spotify. Allen, who has nearly 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, admitted her foot photography side hustle turned out to be surprisingly lucrative, proving once again that Hollywood’s side hustle game is a bizarre but profitable arena.

"Imagine being an artist and having nearly 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify but earning more money from having 1,000 people subscribe to pictures of your feet," Allen wrote on X. "Don’t hate the player, hate the game." Apparently, there’s no limit to what some celebrities will monetize.

Whether Fey’s aversion to money-making spectacles resonates with Hollywood elites is up for debate, but her candid remarks certainly add a refreshing spin to the ongoing conversation about wealth and hustle culture.

Tina Fey’s unapologetic take on wealthy celebrities with side hustles is both amusing and thought-provoking. Her casual admission of ‘hating money’ feels oddly relatable in a world where everyone seems obsessed with getting more of it. But let’s be real—judging rich folks for milking every opportunity might be the only side hustle Fey actually enjoys!
