Todd Chrisley recounts prison clash with Varsity Blues’ Rick Singer, threatens him over daughter Savannah’s advocacy.

Reality TV star Todd Chrisley, known for Chrisley Knows Best, recently shared a fiery tale from his time behind bars, clashing with none other than Rick Singer, the infamous mastermind of the Varsity Blues college admissions scandal. Fresh off a presidential pardon from Donald Trump in May 2025, Todd and his wife Julie Chrisley opened up on their daughter Savannah Chrisley’s Unlocked podcast about their prison experiences in separate facilities.

Todd, 57, didn’t mince words recounting his run-in with Singer at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola. The former reality star branded Singer a “snitch” for cooperating with federal investigators against high-profile figures like Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman. Todd alleged Singer bragged about not wearing a wire or ratting out others, prompting a sharp retort: “I hope your book’s first chapter names you the biggest snitch in America.”

Tensions escalated months later when Todd claims Singer disparaged Savannah’s advocacy for her parents’ release. “I told him, ‘If my daughter’s name comes out of your mouth again, I’ll rip your head off,’” Todd recalled, emphasizing he meant every word. The confrontation, he said, marked his only real issue during his 16-month stint.

Singer, sentenced to 42 months in 2023 for orchestrating a $25 million scheme to secure college admissions through fake test scores and athletic credentials, was released to a halfway house in August 2024. Meanwhile, Todd and Julie, convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion, maintain their innocence after their combined 19-year sentence was cut short by Trump’s pardon.

This saga highlights the raw emotions and personal stakes in high-profile scandals, where prison yards become stages for reality TV drama.
