Tom Brady, the gridiron legend, swapped pigskin for pavement, riding shotgun with NASCAR icon Jimmie Johnson in a thrilling IndyCar lap around the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway before the Indianapolis 500 kicked off on Sunday. Clad in a FOX Sports fire suit and IndyCar helmet, Brady soaked in the high-speed spectacle as Johnson navigated the track’s roaring straightaways and tight turns.

“This is unreal,” Brady exclaimed on the FOX broadcast, marveling at the electric atmosphere and confessing it was his first time at the storied event. Johnson, no stranger to IndyCar’s intensity with 29 starts in 2021 and 2022, including a 28th-place finish in the 2022 Indy 500, shared Brady’s enthusiasm, noting the race’s unmatched energy.
