Tony Bennett's daughters sue their brother Danny, alleging he exploited his roles managing Tony's estate for personal gain, including unauthorized commissions, loans, and questionable asset sales.
Tony Bennett's daughters, Antonia and Johanna, have filed a lawsuit in New York, accusing their brother Danny of exploiting his legal and fiduciary roles to gain financially from their late father’s estate. The court documents claim Danny abused his positions of authority, including his role as Tony’s personal manager and as trustee of the family trust, in ways that allegedly benefited him significantly.
According to the suit, Danny “exercised complete and unchecked control” over Tony’s financial affairs, both before and after the legendary singer’s death, and allegedly used this control to negotiate lucrative deals for his own company, RPM Productions. The lawsuit states that Danny continues to profit from these arrangements, even though his roles as Tony's agent and manager officially ended upon Tony’s passing.
Among the allegations, the sisters claim Danny enriched himself through conflicted transactions, excessive commissions, and unauthorized loans and gifts to himself and his children. These actions allegedly diminished Tony’s assets and the family trust’s overall value, leaving other beneficiaries at a disadvantage.
The lawsuit further accuses Danny of orchestrating the sale of key assets—including Tony’s name, image, and music royalties—to Ignite Music Fund, reportedly earning millions in commissions from these transactions. The sisters argue that Danny continues to profit from memorabilia sales tied to these deals.
Last summer, Antonia and Johanna filed a separate lawsuit alleging Danny mishandled proceeds from the sale of Tony’s catalog to Iconoclast. They claimed Danny failed to provide an accounting of the assets involved in the deal, leaving them with more questions than answers.

What a tangled web of family drama! You’d think managing the legacy of one of the most beloved singers in history would unite a family, not tear it apart. If these claims are true, Danny’s actions are the kind of betrayal that could inspire a ballad of its own—except this one would be more heartbreak than harmony.
