Tracy Morgan was hospitalized after suffering food poisoning courtside at a Knicks game, assuring fans of his recovery and joking about the incident on social media.

Tracy Morgan is back on his feet after a dramatic Monday night at Madison Square Garden where the comedian was wheeled out during the New York Knicks game due to food poisoning. The 56-year-old star assured fans on Instagram that he was recovering well, even managing to crack a joke.

"Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning," Morgan wrote. "Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!" Adding a typical Tracy Morgan flair, he quipped, "More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs."

The incident occurred courtside during the Knicks' game against the Miami Heat, where Morgan reportedly threw up and suffered a nosebleed, leading to a hospital visit. The sight of the "30 Rock" star in a wheelchair halted the game for 10 minutes in the third quarter. It's safe to say Madison Square Garden saw more action off-court than on.

Morgan, a devoted Knicks fan, is a regular courtside fixture next to MSG Network broadcasters. His health scare is one in a line of physical challenges he's faced over the years. From diabetes and a kidney transplant in 2010 to surviving a devastating car crash in 2014 that left him in a coma for two weeks, Morgan has proved he’s nothing if not resilient. The crash even required him to relearn how to walk and talk—a comeback worthy of applause.

Fans may have also spotted Morgan during the 50th anniversary special of "Saturday Night Live," where he appeared in several sketches and expressed gratitude for still being able to live out such moments. "Just thank the Lord that I’m a part of this, that I survived the accident, and I’m alive to be here for this," he shared during his red carpet appearance.

While the Knicks might take credit for their win, Morgan’s food poisoning incident was undoubtedly the most talked-about highlight of the night. Let's just hope his next courtside appearance doesn’t involve a mop crew.

Tracy Morgan turning his food poisoning episode into Knicks superstition is pure comedic gold. Also, who knew courtside drama could rival the actual basketball game?
