Trump claims Biden’s aides used an autopen to push lax border policies, sparking a House probe into Biden’s cognitive health and White House decision-making.
President Donald Trump dropped a bombshell in a recent Oval Office press conference, claiming that Joe Biden’s administration used an autopen to push through controversial border security policies without Biden’s full consent. Trump suggested that those close to the former president exploited his declining health, raising questions about who was really calling the shots in the White House.
"The autopen could be one of the biggest scandals we’ve seen," Trump declared, pointing fingers at unnamed aides who allegedly signed off on directives that opened borders to what he described as "21 million people from prisons, mental institutions, and gangs." He insisted that Biden, whom he called a moderate at heart, would never have supported such policies, including unrestricted immigration or progressive social agendas.
House Republicans, led by Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, are digging deeper. Comer’s investigation is probing whether Biden was mentally fit to authorize the autopen’s use during his final months in office. "It’s dangerous," Trump warned. "If you’re signing everything with an autopen, you’re not really president."
Comer has already reached out to five of Biden’s closest aides, including his former White House physician, Dr. O’Connor, and isn’t ruling out hauling Biden himself before Congress. New revelations, including a book, audio from Biden’s special counsel testimony, and his recent cancer diagnosis, have fueled speculation about the extent of his cognitive decline while in office.
The probe is heating up, with Comer threatening subpoenas if Biden’s inner circle doesn’t cooperate. This unfolding drama raises serious questions about leadership, accountability, and the integrity of decision-making at the highest levels.

An autopen running the White House? Sounds like Biden’s presidency was less ‘leader of the free world’ and more ‘sign here, please!’ Meanwhile, Comer’s playing detective, but I bet the real mystery is who’s got the ink for that pen. Maybe it’s time to check if the Oval Office printer has a voting record!
