Iranian clerics issue fatwas targeting Trump and Netanyahu with torture and assassination calls, prompting UANI to demand urgent U.S. sanctions.
In a chilling escalation of international tensions, a new report from United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) has exposed a disturbing campaign by senior Iranian clerics and regime-backed institutions. These entities have issued Islamic legal rulings, or fatwas, explicitly calling for the torture and assassination of President Donald Trump, other American citizens, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Under the guise of religious doctrine, these fatwas label their targets as mohareb—those waging war against God—a charge that, under Iran’s harsh penal code, justifies gruesome punishments like crucifixion and cross-amputation.
The report singles out prominent figures like Ayatollah Naser Makarem-Shirazi, dubbed the 'Sultan of Sugar' for his grip on Iran’s sugar trade, who has openly demanded the execution of Trump and Netanyahu, advocating torture as part of the process. Similarly, Ayatollah Hossein Nouri Hamedani and Ayatollah Mohsen Araki have issued threats that UANI describes as direct incitement to terrorism, with Araki even declaring that Trump’s life and property are no longer protected under Islamic law.
Beyond individuals, UANI points to regime-aligned entities like the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), which has aired programs promoting a staggering $10–$20 million bounty on Trump’s head, even soliciting public donations to fund such an act. The Qom Seminary, a central hub of religious training in Iran, has also publicly endorsed these fatwas, with faculty and students pledging to spread this violent decree.
UANI is now pressing the U.S. government to take decisive action, urging sanctions and designations of these individuals and entities as Specially Designated Global Terrorists. They argue that these are not mere religious pronouncements but targeted threats against a sitting U.S. president—a federal crime that demands a robust response. The haunting precedent of Salman Rushdie, who nearly lost his life to a fatwa-inspired attack, looms large as a reminder of the real-world consequences of such calls to violence.
As global tensions simmer, the question remains: will the international community act swiftly to curb this dangerous rhetoric, or will these fatwas continue to inspire acts of terror from the shadows?

Well, folks, it seems the Iranian regime is playing a deadly game of 'fatwa roulette' with Trump and Netanyahu as the targets. A $20 million bounty? That’s not pocket change—that’s a Powerball jackpot for terror! What’s next, a reality TV show called 'Who Wants to Be a Terrorist Millionaire?' Behind the grim headlines, though, let’s not miss the real absurdity: using religion as a smokescreen for state-sponsored hit lists. If this isn’t a wake-up call for global action, I don’t know what is.
