Trump lashes out at Democrats over fresh impeachment efforts, calls them 'out of control,' and suggests Republicans should consider expelling them for 'REAL crimes.'

Donald Trump is back at it with another late-night social media broadside, this time targeting Democrats and stirring up the impeachment hornet's nest yet again. On Thursday, Trump went full throttle on Truth Social, claiming Democrats are "out of control" and have "lost everything, especially their minds." Classic Trump energy, honestly. He accused his political opponents—whom he dubbed "Radical Left Lunatics"—of once more trying to impeach him, apparently for the twentieth time (if only there were a punch card for these things).

This latest round of impeachment chatter comes after Rep. Shri Thanedar of Michigan dropped a resolution featuring seven articles of impeachment against Trump, citing everything from "obstruction of justice" and "violation of due process" to the ever-dramatic "tyranny." Not to be left out, Rep. Al Green from Texas stood up and shouted, "Add my name to your articles of impeachment," and said he’d introduce his own impeachment articles, too. Is there a BOGO deal running in Congress on these?

Trump, not one to shy away from a counterpunch, suggested that Republicans should consider expelling Democrats from Congress for what he called "REAL crimes"—especially those he claims happen around election times. He lambasted his critics as "total LOWLIFES," accusing them of weaponizing impeachment and preventing the country from healing.

For a quick trip down memory lane: Trump was impeached twice during his first term, but the Senate didn't convict him either time. The second attempt happened after the January 6th Capitol riot, with the acquittal coming after he’d already left office. Trump seems convinced it’s all just reruns of the same political playbook, and he’s warning Republicans not to let it happen again.

He wrapped up his post with a not-so-subtle jab at Rep. Adam Schiff, referencing a "pardon" and claiming Democrats had to "save themselves from Expulsion, and probably worse." If Congress ever needs a new reality show, this would be it—except no one ever gets voted off the island.

At this rate, Congress might need a separate calendar just to keep track of all the impeachment announcements. If only lawmakers got frequent flyer miles for every article introduced, they’d be vacationing in the Bahamas by now.
