Trump Roars with Support for Sen. Steve Daines: 'HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!'

Donald Trump has thrown his weight behind Sen. Steve Daines of Montana, giving him what can only be described as an all-caps, exclamation-point-filled endorsement. Posting on his social media platform, Trump hailed Daines as “a Great Man, and TREMENDOUS Senator,” promising the people of Montana that Daines “WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!” If enthusiasm could be measured in decibels, this one would probably break the sound barrier.

Trump, never shy about his Montana victories, reminded everyone that he’s “won every one of my Races there by a landslide,” adding that he only recommends “the best” for the Senate. Daines, who previously chaired the National Republican Senatorial Committee, was praised by Trump for his work in electing “America First Patriots” and for championing issues like growing the economy, cutting taxes, securing the border, supporting the military and veterans, and defending the Second Amendment.

Daines responded with gratitude, thanking Trump for his endorsement and promising to keep up the fight for “Montana values, secure our border, cut taxes, and Make America Great Again.” Apparently, the Montana-DC express is making no unscheduled stops.

The Daines fan club doesn’t end with Trump. Sen. Tim Sheehy, also from Montana, joined in, calling Daines “a champion for the America First agenda and hardworking Montanans.” Sheehy credited Daines for helping deliver the Republican Senate majority and for efforts to lower costs for families, unleash American energy, and, yes, secure the border.

With endorsements stacking up like Montana snowdrifts, it looks like Daines is heading into his re-election campaign with a pretty robust tailwind. Whether voters in the Treasure State are as fired up as their political leaders remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure: nobody in this story does anything halfway.
