President Trump has rescinded 19 Biden-era executive orders, targeting gender ideology, labor, and green policies, while downsizing federal agencies and championing government efficiency under Elon Musk.

President Donald Trump took a bold step on Friday, rolling back 19 executive orders from the Biden era that he described as "harmful" to American interests. Among these are orders related to gender ideology and labor policies that Trump deemed "radical."

In addition to reversing Biden's policies, Trump announced a reduction in the functions of several government agencies, aiming to cut costs and streamline operations. This move comes as part of his broader agenda to downsize the federal government.

Some of the rescinded orders included eliminating the Defense Production Act's role in promoting what Trump called the "Green New Scam," such as mandates for electric heat pumps and solar panels. Another order that elevated gender ideology in U.S. diplomacy and foreign aid was also scrapped. Clearly, Trump is not mincing words when it comes to his stance on these policies.

He also terminated Biden's proclamations that designated nearly a million acres for new national monuments, arguing that such actions hinder economic development and energy production—a classic clash of ideology between the two administrations.

The White House shared a fact sheet boasting that Trump has now rescinded more executive orders than Biden signed during his first year in office. "President Trump is committed to continuing the review and repeal of harmful Biden administration policies to usher in a new golden age for America," the statement read. Whatever your views on Trump, you can't deny he's making waves.

But the changes don't stop at executive orders. Trump also announced cutbacks in several federal agencies, including the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, United States Agency for Global Media, and the Arctic Research Commission, among others. The administration claimed these cuts would save taxpayer dollars and reduce unnecessary government spending. For those watching the federal budget like hawks, this might sound like music to their ears.

The Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE (yes, that's right, DOGE), led by Elon Musk, has been spearheading these cost-cutting measures. DOGE has reportedly canceled billions of dollars in government contracts and grants and overseen layoffs across multiple agencies. Musk's name attached to federal reform? That alone is bound to stir up headlines.

As Trump continues to trim the fat off the federal government, the nation watches closely. Whether these moves truly usher in a "golden age" or lead to unintended consequences remains to be seen. One thing's for sure, though—Trump's presidency is anything but dull.

Trump calling it the 'Green New Scam'? It's like he's auditioning for a stand-up comedy gig while rewriting U.S. policy. Love him or hate him, the man knows how to market his moves with flair. Also, DOGE led by Elon Musk? Sounds more like a Silicon Valley startup than a government department. Are we headed toward a future where federal agencies have brand sponsorships?
