President Trump shares laughs over a 'Let's Go Brandon' sticker during a White House meeting with wounded veterans, mixing meme culture with policy announcements and heartfelt moments.

The Oval Office doesn’t usually double as a comedy club, but on Wednesday, President Donald Trump managed to get the room roaring during a meeting with wounded veterans. The trigger? A ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ sticker spotted on a veteran’s belongings.

Trump, ever the observer, paused mid-meeting to point out the sticker, asking, “Who is that picture on there?” The veteran didn’t miss a beat: “That is Joe Biden. And it says, ‘Let’s Go Brandon.’” The response set off a wave of laughter among everyone present. Trump, clearly amused, added, “I’m saying, ‘what was that picture?’ That’s great.” Even the most historic room in America isn’t immune to meme culture, apparently.

For anyone who’s somehow missed the saga, the ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ phrase exploded in 2021 during a NASCAR interview, when a reporter misheard a crowd’s very explicit chant aimed at President Biden. Ever since, the phrase has been a not-so-subtle jab at Biden, gaining traction in political circles and, evidently, the White House itself.

After the laughter died down, the meeting took on a more heartfelt tone. Trump praised the veterans as “amazing people, great heroes,” acknowledging many familiar faces from his previous meetings as president.

One veteran voiced his appreciation: “Mr. President, we just were very happy with the energy that this administration is bringing, and it’s an administration that says it does what it promises. We’re behind you. We believe in you. And I think we all love you.” Another chimed in with a simple, “Thank you for loving America, sir.”

The gathering wasn’t just about stickers and sentiment, though. Trump used the occasion to announce several new executive orders, including reforms to the higher education accreditation system, increased transparency regarding foreign influence at U.S. universities, and a nationwide push for better artificial intelligence education for American students.

Just another day in American politics, where pop culture, policy, and presidential punchlines all blend together under the same ornate ceiling.

Honestly, only in the Oval Office could a meme sticker get more laughs than a State of the Union address. If the Founding Fathers could see this, they’d probably update the Bill of Rights to include a right to meme. Also, somewhere there’s a NASCAR driver who never asked for any of this—Brandon, you’re a legend whether you like it or not!
