FBI Director Kash Patel proposes a partnership with UFC to boost agent fitness. UFC star Justin Gaethje is eager to help, though formal talks have not begun.

New FBI Director Kash Patel has a rather unique fitness strategy in mind for agents, and UFC fighter Justin Gaethje is all in to help him get it off the ground.

In a call with the FBI’s 55 field offices earlier this week, Patel floated the idea of forming a collaboration between the FBI and the UFC to enhance fitness programs for agents, according to an ABC News report. The idea may sound unconventional, but Gaethje, known for his hard-hitting style in the Octagon, is ready to step up.

"I would love to be part of any part of that. I love representing this country. I can't wait to fly this flag, walk into the Octagon. It's been a while since I've been proud to be an American, and we're back there. I'm excited to represent this country," Gaethje said in a recent interview with TMZ. "Anytime anybody at that position needs my help, I'm more than willing."

Gaethje, who is currently gearing up for a fight on March 8 in Las Vegas, says he’s ready to jump in after his match. "I think there’s more skilled people (than myself), but I got no kids, no wife. So if Patel needs somebody to go out there and serve some justice, I would love to be part of that team."

The lightweight contender’s patriotic enthusiasm is clear, but whether this collaboration will actually materialize remains uncertain. While UFC President Dana White does have a personal relationship with Patel, a UFC source told Fox News Digital that the organization hasn’t received any formal communication about the partnership. The FBI, meanwhile, declined to comment on the matter.

White, for his part, is no stranger to working with influential figures; his long-standing friendship with President Donald Trump has been well-documented, with Trump frequently attending UFC events over the years.

For now, Gaethje’s willingness to bring his combat skills to the FBI’s service is another testament to his passion for representing the U.S. Whether or not this unique proposal takes off, you can’t deny the fighter’s commitment—or his flair for dramatic timing.

Okay, let's just pause for a second and imagine FBI agents doing takedowns inspired by UFC moves. Is it practical? Maybe not. But is it entertaining? Absolutely. Also, Gaethje volunteering as the bachelor-agent-on-call is a reality show I didn’t know I needed.
