White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt slams Rep. Jasmine Crockett for calling Trump supporters 'sick,' defending the America First movement.

In a fiery exchange, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt sharply rebuked Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, for labeling President Donald Trump supporters as "sick" and mentally unwell. Speaking from the White House briefing room on Thursday, Leavitt called the remarks "incredibly derogatory," pointing out that nearly 80 million Americans backed Trump in his reelection bid. "That’s a lot of ‘sick’ people to dismiss so casually," she quipped, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

Leavitt defended the America First movement, describing it as a coalition of hardworking patriots—nurses, teachers, law enforcement officers, and small business owners—who form the backbone of Trump’s support. She suggested Crockett attend a Trump rally to witness the passion and diversity of his base firsthand. "She might be surprised by the energy in the room," Leavitt added with a sly grin, hinting at the congresswoman’s disconnect from Middle America.

Crockett’s comments came during an interview with Katie Couric, where she framed Trump’s victory as a symptom of a national mental health crisis. "It’s not about partisanship," Crockett insisted, arguing that opposition to Trump should be universal. She went further, claiming Kamala Harris was more qualified for the presidency and dismissing Trump’s appeal as rooted in his identity as an "old white man." Her remarks didn’t stop there—she expressed heartbreak for service members serving under Trump, calling him the embodiment of what they swore to fight against.

Not one to shy away from controversy, Crockett also defended Joe Biden’s mental sharpness, insisting it was "supreme" compared to Trump’s. She brushed off concerns about Biden’s age, saying she’d take a "slowed-down" Biden over Trump any day, citing Biden’s "heart." But Crockett’s rhetoric has drawn fire before, notably for mocking Texas Governor Greg Abbott as "governor hot wheels," a jab at his disability that sparked widespread backlash.

Leavitt, seizing the moment, took a parting shot: "I hope Crockett keeps rising in the Democratic Party—it’s great for us Republicans." The room chuckled, but the underlying tension was clear: this clash is just one spark in a deeply polarized political fire.

Crockett calling Trump’s base ‘sick’ is like diagnosing a fever with a flamethrower—bold, but it burns bridges. And Leavitt’s rally invite? That’s like asking a vegan to a butcher’s convention! This spat’s a masterclass in political theater, but it’s the voters who’ll decide the final act.
