Following his thrilling Daytona 500 win, NASCAR star William Byron took a detour from the usual victory lap to dive headfirst into the world of WWE. Byron made a surprise appearance on "Monday Night Raw" at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, driving his No. 24 car right into the arena. Byron emerged from the vehicle alongside WWE superstar A.J. Styles, much to the delight of the crowd. He was later seen sporting a WWE championship belt, a fitting accessory for a Daytona 500 champion. "It was something that I definitely wanted to do," Byron told Fox News Digital, marking his first-ever attendance at a WWE show. "I thought it was really cool. So, it was neat. I never have been to ‘Monday Night Raw’ before. But I really enjoyed it. It was pretty fun." Byron, a childhood fan of pro wrestling, expressed newfound respect for the sport after experiencing it live. "I think it’s really cool. I watched a lot when I was younger: The Undertaker and all the different wrestlers," he said. "So I think it’s pretty neat. I definitely grew a lot of appreciation for it when I got to see it in person. It was pretty exciting, really." This victory marks Byron's second consecutive Daytona 500 win. In addition to his on-track success, Byron recently became a brand ambassador for CELSIUS, aligning himself with the fitness-focused beverage company. "It’s a pretty natural fit for me, just working out pretty often and training for the races, and Celsius encourages all of us to live fit," he explained. "So I feel like it’s a really important partnership for me because I use the product a lot, and so I think it fits really well."

Honestly, seeing a NASCAR driver roll up to 'Monday Night Raw' is the kind of crossover I didn't know I needed. Talk about merging two worlds of high-octane entertainment! This is the kind of cross-promotion that gets people talking.
