WWE superstar Cody Rhodes shares expert suit-wearing tips, blending wrestling style with fashion advice ahead of WrestleMania 41 and his anticipated match against John Cena.
WWE superstar Cody Rhodes is as much a fashion icon as he is a wrestling champion, and he’s proving that the art of suit-wearing isn’t just for boardrooms or red carpets—it’s for the ring too. As Rhodes gears up for WrestleMania 41, he shared some sage advice on how to pick the perfect suit, an area where he’s clearly a pro.
Since his return to WWE, Rhodes has taken on rivalries with big names like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, The Rock, and John Cena. But honestly, what’s turning just as many heads as his wrestling skills? His impeccable suits. Let’s face it, this guy could give James Bond a run for his money.
In a recent conversation with Fox News Digital, Rhodes laid out his top tips for selecting a suit that dazzles as much as his in-ring performances.
"It’s kind of two-fold. If you’re going to spend the money on a custom-made suit … don’t be lazy," Rhodes advised. "Get fully measured. It’s going to take a while. I never like to try stuff on. There’s about 85,000 measurements you didn’t even think existed. One of the reasons why my body looks so big in my current suit—so I’m all ‘caked up,’ as the internet says—is because my body fluctuates and I haven’t remeasured. So that’s why I’m ‘caked up’ for this season."
While not everyone has the budget for tailored couture, Rhodes offered practical advice for the rest of us. "If you’re going on a cheaper route, and you don’t have time to get it tailored, perhaps just go a size down," he said. "Skip the oversized look that feels like you’re wearing a bed sheet. Tighten it up a little bit—think European swagger. You’ll look better in photos, and if it’s cheap and rips, no big deal. That’s life."
For Rhodes, suits aren’t just a fashion statement—they’re functional too. "There’s suits I have on TV that I basically consider tearaway suits. At any point—Cody Cutter, Cross Rhodes—they could explode, I guess rip right off me, and I wouldn’t feel terrible about it."
Rhodes spoke to Fox News Digital on behalf of WWE’s partnership with Clash of Clans, a tie-in to his upcoming WrestleMania 41 match against John Cena. Mark your calendars for April 19-20, when Rhodes will fight for the WWE title—and likely show off another killer suit in the process.
