On Thursday afternoon, Stratton, decked out in a Mets cap, City Connect jersey, and a custom Mets title belt, took to the mound with all the confidence of a champion. At just 26, she was ready to make a statement. Shouting her iconic catchphrase, "It's Tiffy Time," to the Mets dugout, she wound up and... let’s just say the ball had a mind of its own. The pitch soared over the plate, past Mets relief pitcher Danny Young, and straight toward the backstop, earning groans from the crowd and a helpless stare from Young.

Now, Stratton isn’t alone in the hall of infamous first pitches. She joins the ranks of former NFL star Taylor Lewan, who recently had his own disastrous toss at a St. Louis Cardinals game. Lewan’s pitch was so off-target that even former President Donald Trump couldn’t resist a jab, reportedly scoffing at him with a biting, "You call yourself an American?
