WWE Champion Tiffany Stratton’s first pitch at a Mets game goes hilariously wrong, joining the ranks of viral sports mishaps.

Well, folks, it seems WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton might want to keep her talents confined to the wrestling ring after a first pitch at a New York Mets game that could only be described as a spectacular miss.

On Thursday afternoon, Stratton, decked out in a Mets cap, City Connect jersey, and a custom Mets title belt, took to the mound with all the confidence of a champion. At just 26, she was ready to make a statement. Shouting her iconic catchphrase, "It's Tiffy Time," to the Mets dugout, she wound up and... let’s just say the ball had a mind of its own. The pitch soared over the plate, past Mets relief pitcher Danny Young, and straight toward the backstop, earning groans from the crowd and a helpless stare from Young.

Now, Stratton isn’t alone in the hall of infamous first pitches. She joins the ranks of former NFL star Taylor Lewan, who recently had his own disastrous toss at a St. Louis Cardinals game. Lewan’s pitch was so off-target that even former President Donald Trump couldn’t resist a jab, reportedly scoffing at him with a biting, "You call yourself an American? Looks like you’re a little boy who can’t throw a ball." Ouch. Thankfully, both Stratton and Lewan have other skills to fall back on—ones that don’t involve a baseball diamond.

While Stratton’s pitch may have gone viral for all the wrong reasons, it’s a reminder that even champions can have an off day. Here’s hoping her next appearance in the spotlight is a knockout in the ring, not a strikeout on the mound.

Tiffany Stratton’s pitch was so wild, I’m pretty sure it’s still orbiting somewhere over Citi Field. Maybe the Mets should sign her for their outfield—nobody’s catching that throw! But seriously, behind the laughter, isn’t it refreshing to see a champ step out of her comfort zone, even if it’s a swing and a miss? Let’s just hope her next ‘Tiffy Time’ doesn’t involve any flying objects.
