WWII veteran Denver Moore, turning 104 in Canal Fulton, Ohio, goes viral after inviting Donald Trump to his birthday. His story inspires with wisdom, humor, and resilience.
Denver Moore, a World War II veteran from Canal Fulton, Ohio, is gearing up for his 104th birthday on May 15, and he has a special guest in mind: former President Donald Trump.
Moore, who has earned the right to speak his mind, didn't mince words when he shared his admiration for Trump, calling him his "favorite president," while labeling Biden as his "worst." Well, he’s certainly not holding back at this stage in life.
His wish went viral on TikTok after a family friend posted a video on March 23, where Moore personally invited Trump to his birthday party. The clip racked up over 700,000 views in just 10 days and sparked a wave of attention.
"President Trump… I'm gonna be 104 in May, and I'm inviting you to my birthday party in Canal Fulton," Moore said in the video. "I got to vote for you again, and I hope I can vote for you some more." Talk about loyalty!
Since the video hit the internet, Moore has been flooded with messages and birthday cards from across the country—and even as far away as Africa. Clearly, his charm knows no borders.
Moore’s life story reads like a history book. Raised on a farm in Noble County, Ohio, he later served three-and-a-half years in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. After his service, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service and raised three children with his late wife, Thelma, to whom he was married for an incredible 75 years. She passed away in 2022 at the age of 95.
Now living at Danbury Senior Living in Massillon, Ohio, Moore continues to impress everyone around him with his sharp wit and physical activity. At 103, he can still recite the alphabet backward—a skill he learned over 80 years ago and proudly demonstrated to Fox News Digital.
When asked about the secret to his long life, Moore credited staying active. "I was always active, doing something. I carried mail for 20 years, walking, and that was good. I grew up on a farm. We did everything. And if we didn't have anything to do, we created something. So it's just this: stay active," he said. Not exactly rocket science, but it’s worked wonders for him.
And his other piece of advice? "Marry the right woman and live with her all of her life." A simple yet profound nugget of wisdom that clearly worked for him.
The birthday celebration, catered by Chick-fil-A, will be held at the SAM Center in Canal Fulton and will include a parade in Moore’s honor. Moore, clearly a man of big dreams, is still hoping Trump will RSVP. The White House has yet to respond to this viral invitation.
At 104 years old, Denver Moore’s story is a testament to resilience, activity, and a dash of good humor. Here’s hoping he gets the birthday bash of his dreams.

Denver Moore is the kind of guy you want at every party—sharp as a tack and full of life lessons. His unapologetic love for Trump and disdain for Biden might ruffle some feathers, but hey, at 104, he’s earned the right to say whatever he pleases. Also, the alphabet-backward trick? Pure showmanship. Someone get this man a stage!
